MAIN STARTING VALVE FOR DIESEL ENGINES Main starting valve is one of the principal components in the control system of diesel engines, purposed for starting main engines. It is made of pneumatic ball valve, retaining valve, locking arrangement and connecting line. As required by its action, the main starting valve should have adequate strength, high sealing performance, free on-off operation and good retaining behavior. Development of the main starting valve for main diesel engines was initiated . which has so far completed its design and put it into production.
